This is the opening of the “Butterfly” series.
After I’ve painted the portrait I felt the need for presence of flowers and butterflies. The peonies and butterflies complete the composition, by being positioned both on the left and on the right of the painted figure. In the eyes of the young women you can read the desire for evolution, transformation, of following the new chosen path which leads to freedom, peace and spiritual harmony
True gratification comes from the soul.
