The artwork is part of the series “Beauty will save the world”.
We have rendered a glimpse of the world we live in, of reality in a fairytale fashion. I chose to paint a group of children to create a link with innocence, the innocence we are all born with and sometimes gradually lose on the paths of life. I emphasized symbolism. Open doors, which let light flood in, always remain open, we just need to be aware of that. Life is about enjoying nature, people, beauty, art and all that the miraculous planet we live on offers us. We need to take a break from the hustle and bustle of life and notice the beautiful side of the world, of life, and most of all start believing in it. The light is there, it is waiting, it always has been and always will be in us.
